The Wider Steps, The Better Footing

Remodeling or revamping of a staircase does ask for a variety of stair parts and accessories, but selecting the suitable one is really a tiring a job. And if quality is what you always keep high then it really becomes too tough to opt for the right one. Let’s say; stair treads that you can find in gamut, but selecting the one that can best define and depict your staircase attractive definitely want you to be highly considerate about the selection process. Most online sellers of stair parts offer a range of stair treads like from marble steps to wood and a more innovative type of stair treads that make use of several other conventional materials. Don’t go over the aesthetical part when you buy a stair tread.

The steps of a staircase are the most important part of the whole stairway. It’s true that everybody wishes to have an elegantly looking step in his/her house, however safety and good grip of footing on the stair also has high importance.  The rule of thumb is to opt for the widest treads. For good grip of footing, wider steps are highly recommended, as there are very little chances of slipping. And if safety comes first in your mind then I would suggest you to opt for 3 x 12, as they have much width to accommodate several feet with good grip. So, if you really wish to have a safe and sound stairway in your house then do consider opting for the wider steps.
